Day 1 – Arrive to Rhodes

Acclimate to your beautiful surroundings after transfer from the airport to your preferred accommodations: The Ixian Grand or Alila Resort & Spa.

After a day of leisure, join other festival goers for an evening cooking lesson presented by resort chefs on the main restaurant’s terrace overlooking the Aegean Sea. The class showcases authentic local recipes including pitaroudia, kappama, and diples.

End your day with a welcome dinner.

Day 2 – Tour the Medieval City of Rhodes

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing on a guided tour of the Medieval City of Rhodes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The drive will take you along the coast, past the Acropolis of Rhodes, and to the Palace of the Grand Masters.

A walking tour of the heart of the city includes byzantine churches and Ottoman mosques as well as a synagogue. Explore Rhodes Old Town—home to shops and cafes—on your own before visiting Ronda Beach for swimming, wine tasting, and a late lunch.

Dinner is served at the resort in the late evening.

Day 3 – Take in Lindos

After breakfast at the hotel, take in the scenery along the east coast on the way to Lindos, an iconic fishing village and impressive archaeological site. Whitewashed houses surround the Acropolis of Lindos, which is dedicated to the goddess Athena. Walk 300 steps up to the temple for a guided tour.

After admiring the landscape, which includes St. George Church, enjoy an exclusive Melekouni cooking class in a captain’s lodge. Traditional Greek lunch in St. Paul’s Bay will be followed by swimming.

Dinner is served at the resort after sunset.

Day 4 – Choose How to Spend Your Day

Spend Saturday in leisure at your respective resort. Two additional tours are also available:

Blutopia Marine Park: Explore the marine ecosystem of the Mediterranean Sea and get to know native fish, marine mammals, rare underwater plants, and algae. This tour explores four islands via boat and snorkeling and ends with a taverna fish fry.

Wine and Dine Rhodes Style: Begin your day with a vineyard tour, wine tasting, and cooking class at the world-class Triantafillou Winery. The tour ends with an interactive lunch and Greek tsipouro (un-aged brandy).

Day 5 – Explore Asklipio Village

Enjoy resort amenities in the morning before departing for Asklipio Village. The mountainous village, built amphitheatrically, is home to a medieval castle built by the Knights of St. John in the 13th century as well as the Byzantine church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary.

Here, locals will lead cooking classes featuring traditional meals. Then, experience the village’s Panigiri Festival (a tradition of many Greek islands) with homemade food and Greek folk music. This centuries-old tradition is a bucket-list experience!

Day 6 – Optional Adventure to Symi

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the port of Mandraki for a boat ride to the Island of Symi. This enchanting isle is located just 25 miles from Rhodes.

The charming harbor gives way to tavernas, bars, painted fishing boats, and kafenions, as well as the old town of Chorio. Then, swim at St. George Beach before a traditional Greek meal. The afternoon is yours to explore this relaxing destination on your own.

End your trip with a farewell dinner at the resort.
