The Travel Team Inc. Acquires Carlson
Wagonlit of Erie
Jean McDonnell Covelli, president of The Travel
Team, Inc. announces the acquisition of Carlson Wagonlit Travel
of Erie, PA. The company assumes the operation of the Carlson
Wagonlit Travel offices in North Tonawanda, Central, NY and
Erie, PA.
“This acquisition is in response to what we foresee as continued
dynamic travel industry changes.” “We are committed to bring
the broadest and most exciting selection of vacation and group
travel offerings to the Erie marketplace.,” stated Ms. Covelli.
Elsie Peake will continue as the manager of the Erie office.
All members of the staff will remain in their respective roles.

As part of the acquisition agreement, Charles Marra owner of
the franchise of Carlson Wagonlit Travel WNY was named vice
president of strategic development. “I am excited to become part

strategic plan. We have exciting plans for our Erie office and
look forward to dynamic growth and expanded travel offerings.”
